🌟 Conference Update 🌟 EBSA 2025 in Rome

In July, Claudia and Fatma (Nina), a 3rd year PhD student in the lab, attended EBSA 2025 Congress in Rome.

Claudia chaired the Synthetic Biology and Astrobiology session, during which Nina gave a short talk on her joint work with Karina, a postdoc in the lab, exploring the balance between stability and functionality in minimal coacervates.

Nina also received an EBSA bursary to attend the conference. She shared:
“I am deeply grateful for the bursary support that enabled my participation, as it has already begun to shape the next steps of my research while also broadening my outlook on biophysics as a whole.”
